The Juliana Theory Reunite For ‘farewell’ Shows

Disbanded cult rockers THE JULIANA THEORY are reuniting for a series of “farewell” concerts this summer (10) – four years after they split.

The group announced the break-up in a post on their website in 2006 but the quintet has decided to give fans one last chance to see them live.

Frontman Brett Detar says, “We never played a farewell show. We posted a goodbye blog and that was it. I think it was pretty unfair to our loyal fans and to us too. Now the five of us get to do what we always should have done and say goodbye properly.”

And the band will have a special treat in store for their loyal followers – the rockers will perform their 2000 album Emotion is Dead in its entirety.

The Juliana Theory’s final tour kicks off in New York on 20 August (10) and will include a stop in Los Angeles and two in their native Pennsylvania.
