Somdev Loses Opening Singles to Russia’s Kunitsyn
Moscow, March 5 – India’s No. 1 Somdev Devvarman lost the opening singles to Russia’s Igor Kunitsyn in the Davis Cup World Group first round here Friday.
Somdev lost 7-6(6), 6-7(4), 3-6, 4-6.
India’s No.2 Rohan Bopanna, who is at 416 on the ATP charts, will take on World No. 13 Mikhail Youzhny in the second singles.
