Moretz A Favourite To Land Hunger Games Role
KICK-ASS star CHLOE MORETZ has emerged as the favourite to land the coveted role of KATNISS EVERDEEN in the movie adaptation of SUZANNE COLLINS’ trilogy of hit young-adult books.
Movie executives are keen to start work on the films as Collins’ final book of three, Mockingjay, shot to the top of bestsellers lists upon its release last month (Aug10).
The first film, The Hunger Games, is expected to start shooting at the beginning of 2011.
Twilight actress Kristen Stewart was among the first names connected to the trilogy, but insiders insist Moretz now has the lead.
