Glee Creator Fires Back At Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade Bosses

The creator of hit U.S. TV musical series GLEE is fuming after the cast was banned from performing at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

Singers from the Fox musical/drama were expected to perform rock ‘n’ roll hit Don’t Stop Believin’ during the holiday march on 26 November (09).

But negotiations with casting directors reportedly came to a halt because the parade is aired on U.S. TV by rival network NBC.

An NBC source explains the decision, “It’s standard operating procedure, NBC doesn’t promote another network’s show, like it wouldn’t promote another department store during the parade.” (JMA/PYN&EW/IG)

Wow everyone, it is Thanksgiving Day! I’m happy with my extra day off, and I am planning to doing something fun that’ll probably involve a car trip and seeing something new in Beech Grove I haven’t seen yet.
