Girl Student Commits Suicide
Ghaziabad, Sep 9 – A girl student pursuing a bachelor degree in computer applications committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room at Kavinagar in Ghaziabad, police said Thursday.
Police said 20-year-old Pushp Karni Tripathi alias Julee, a second year student of the Vishwesria Institute of Management and Technology at Dadri in Greater Noida, was found hanging from a ceiling fan Wednesday night.
Julee, who came from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, did not attend classes Wednesday.
Her roommate found the door locked from inside and alerted the police, Superintendent of Police A.K. Vijaita said.
