Five Killed in Attack on Wedding Party in Algeria

Tebessa (Algeria), June 25 – Five people were killed and one seriously wounded after alleged terrorists opened fire at a marriage party in an Algerian town, police sources said.

Four people died on the spot while the fifth died of his wounds while he was being taken to hospital in Stah Guenter town, 110 km from Tebessa, the source said, adding that a sixth citizen has been ‘severely affected’, Xinhua reported.

Security forces immediately launched a search operation for the armed group who fled the scene after the crime.
