Coolio Fight Postponed
A celebrity fight between COOLIO and rising actor ERIC MARTINEZ has been postponed – because there wasn’t enough time to promote the event following the rapper’s last minute step-in for DMX.
The Gangsta’s Paradise hitmaker agreed to take part in the Alabama Pride MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) event after DMX, real name Earl Simmons, pulled out over fears for his safety.
But organisers axed the scheduled fight on Saturday (12Dec09) after admitting there was not enough time to promote the bout.
