Cage’s Fears Over Fan Following

NICOLAS CAGE was left fearing for his life after a fan dressed as a mime artist began following him.

The actor was filming 1999 thriller Bringing Out The Dead when he noticed a bizarrely dressed onlooker was frequenting the set and behaving strangely.

And he insists he was so “unsettled” by the mime’s presence he knew he had to alert the filmmakers to ensure his safety.

He tells America’s Parade magazine, “I guess it would fall into the stalker category more or less. I was being stalked by a mime – silent but maybe deadly. Somehow, this mime would appear on the set of Bringing Out the Dead and start doing strange things. I have no idea how it got past security. Finally, the producers took some action and I haven’t seen the mime since. But it was definitely unsettling.” (PAW/STR/KD)
